My Mission

Supporting parents with their infants sleep patterns and educating them to aid a better night’s sleep with a gentle approach.

Who am I?

With 15+ years of experience working with babies and children I decided to become a gentle sleep consultant to help families in their times of need and to give them the reassurance they may be looking for. Every child is different and no amount of reading books or googling will tell you what your child needs. Only you really know. You may just need a push in the right direction, which is where I can help you.

My experience started from a young age. When I would finish school I would head over to the neighbours to help out with their children whilst mum cooked dinner or completed jobs around the house. From there I worked in various settings and eventually started my journey into Nannying. Whilst nannying I gained a lot of new born experience with each family I worked for as well as toddlers and young children. I helped put the children into routines and help maintain them alongside the parents. I helped the parents with bedtime settling as well as day time naps either in the babies cot or pushchair. Helping the baby or child get used to different environments to fall asleep.

Since then I worked in a school for almost 4 years before starting my own journey into motherhood.

Now my son is 2 and a half years old and starting pre-school soon, I wanted to start my own journey into sharing my knowledge and experience to ease families back into those restful nights they deserve.

Nikki is amazing!
Being a single mum that has always co-slept and fed to sleep my boy was super attached and depended on me for sleep. I contacted Nikki when he was 13 months old and I remember my first message saying that I thought we’d probably be a lost cause and she wouldn’t be able to help but we’d give anything a try.
Nikki really took the time to get to know what my child is like, our situation, what my goals were and what I was happy or not happy with trying to be able to create the perfect plan for us.
Fast forward to a week of using a gentle approach and my boy needs minimal help getting to sleep and is able to self settle through the night! We have gone from waking every two hours and needing my full support to get back to sleep to needing no support through the night and getting 10 hours of sleep.
He even transitioned to the cot for nap times using the same approach and will sleep with no fuss.
Nikki has been so responsive and supportive throughout. I can’t thank Nikki enough for helping us to get more sleep and allowing me to now be the more present mum that I want to be without being permanently exhausted!
